Cup and Plate Finals In the New Foyle Arena this weekend!!!


The first competition of the BNI calendar is coming to it’s climax as the cup and plate semi-finals and finals are in the new Foyle Arena in Derry home of North Star Basketball Club who are one of the teams that have managed to make the semi-finals of the cup and are playing last year’s play-off champions Kilkeel Knights. The plate semi-finals are have a wide range of teams, BC Wolves are a new team who are fighting for top spot in D2 are playing the Tyrone Towers who have been one of the core clubs in the BNI community over the last decade and are competing in D1, while Andersonstown Tigers seconds have the task of playing a premier league team in UU Elks who got knocked-out in a surprise loss in the first round of the cup to be put in the plate.

The Foyle Arena has just been opened this season and Adrian Boyle Programming Services Manager at Foyle Arena is “delighted to be hosting such a prestigious tournament. Foyle Arena has been working with numerous NGB’s to bring elite sporting events to the North West. Having BNI’s major tournament shows the commitment of both parties to providing high class sport at NI’s premier sporting Arena.”

Below is the schedule entry fee for the weekend is only £2 for children, £3 for adults and £5 for families
