Wolves D1 squad had to battle hard to win this competitive and close game. Great support from both sets of followers added to a great game of basketball. Both sides shot well from outside and battled hard under the net in the first half, but Towers held a narrow lead at the half. Wolves seemed to step up the pace a bit in the third and opened up a lead which stretched to 17 at one point. Towers kept working hard to reduce the gap to 7 but cool heads in the Wolves team held away and they finished out the game! Worthy winners! Coach R.Bartkus said that it was very close and hard game, not much time for the tactics because referees let to do a lot of cnotact, great perfomrance by MVP Darius Surginas who played 38 minutes from 40 and also good job by the whole squad ! It is a year to remember and we hope next year we will be back stronger and better !!
