3x3 Tournament Rocked Cookstown !!

26th of August will go to our Club history because of our first organised 3x3 Tournament ! 20 teams in total ,82 players, 8 hours of basketball and so many moments to be remembered !! Big thanks to everyone who came a long way to play from Dublin, Cavan, Belfast, Kilkeel, Bangor and so on ! The day started with our Juniors playing in there ''mini 3x3'' tournament, and after a bad start ''Bc Wolves'' Kids managed to take everything in there hands and won in the Final game by two Points ! Great performance by the boys !!!

And just when the kids finished men tooked over the court. With 16 teams divided in four groups, after the group stage ended the tournament split in two separate Divisions ''A'' and ''B'' and all of the teams started to play in quartefinal stage. So the atmosphere in the court where always high !!! From 16 Knock Out games 7 of them ended with Extra time! ''Division B'' Final game between ''McCloskey Boys'' and ''Down Knights'' ! And the shoot, that decided the winner ! Rolandas Bartkus From ''McCloskey Boys'' scored a 3 point buzzer while being behind by one point and took the Win and the title From ''Down Knights'' !! What a game to watch !!!

The ''Division A'' Final between ''Zalgiris'' and ''TED & R " just as we could all expect were the highest class Basketball show for everybody !! The first 5 minutes neither one of the team couldn't go in front and the score kept tied, but then after great 3 point shooting Darius Surginas, '' TED & R " won the Final and grabbed the Title !! Congratulations !!!
