A very important game was played this Thursday against Premier league top spot Rivals ''Bc Phoenix''. First game was played in Cookstown, and that time ''Phoenix'' won by 5 points 78-73, so ''Wolves'' had to take a win at least by 6 points...
For this important match our opponents couldn't get there full squad and without G.Celms, M.Calo and R.Berzins they had just a small chance for taking take a win. The first quarter showed that ''Wolves'' will try to do everything to win more then by 5 points, and just let to score 8 points in first 10 minutes for ''Phoenix'' and went straight ahead. In Second quarter ''Phoenix'' started to play better in offence and the score difference between two teams went down from 24 to 9, the ''Wolves'' got stuck for a few minutes in zone defence but after the first half, with some changes in tactics, ''Wolves'' went straight ahead and took a win by 32 points. A very important win and a spot on the ''Premier league'' top of the table. Good luck to ''Phoenix'' and see you soon !!!

''Bc Wolves II'' 93-70 ''Belfast Phoenix II''
One more important game, this time against one of the main rivals in Division-1, ''Belfast Phoenix II ''. First game were played in Belfast and that time ''Wolves'' lost by 12 points, so it was important to get a home win by at least 13 points. Start of the game were a scoring race, with the result after first 10 minutes 27-23 with ''Wolves'' in front by 4, most points scored by M.Kubeckis and R.Bartkus from home team, and more team work by ''Phoenix''. Now the second 10 minutes were all about defence, especially from ''Wolves'' side with amazing performance that led ''Phoenix'' to score just 8 points. During the Half time ''Wolves'' were in front by 23 points.
Second half started with aggressive play in offense and went in front by 32 points, but then ''Wolves'' relaxed and let ''Phoenix'' to come back to game, and cut the score by more then a half, with ''Wolves'' just 14 in front, but Then 11 straight points by R.Bartkus and P.Pocius finished the Game with win for the ''Wolves''. Great game for R.bartkus, V.Pauza, P.Pocius and M.Kubeckis while from ''Phoenix'' M.Walsh was just unstoppable.

On Monday 28th Of January our Bc Wolves III team went to Belfast to play against one of the Division-1 Leaders, Belfast Phoenix II. This time our squad had to play without there MVP V.Stonevicius and few other players. The whole game was in Control of ''Phoenix'' who started to press ''Wolves'' all the game and it led in to a big loss by 43 points...105-62...
