Start of the decade with Win against ''Tyrone Towers''

Can there be any better start of the new decade if not a win against our main rivals in the league ''Tyrone Towers''? Probably not, and the game on Friday haven't left any spectator disappointed no matter which side you support.

The game it self started with hard defence from both sides, while on ''Towers'' side N.Bielskis was putting some scores but our man R.Bartkus was giving hard work for the ''Towers'' defence to. The First ten minutes had it all, Unsportsmanlike foul, a lot of trash talk and close score with '' Tyrone Towers'' in front by score 18-16.

Second quarter started with better work on our defence, while N.Kersis and R.Bartkus were dealing under the basket with ''Towers'' attacks, our Z.Sadauskas was hitting three point shoots and A.Czuprak with M.Sekstins were bringing some nice lay ups to get the 10 point lead before the second half. During those minutes Conall Mcquaid from ''Towers'' was doing a great job scoring, but fast personal fouls putted him on the bench soon in the game. First half ended with a score 29-39 to ''Bc Wolves'', great defence let ''Towers'' to score just 11 points in the last 10 minutes.

Second half was ''fight or die'' situation to ''Towers'', and they found a man to take the job to bring the team back - Stephen Gervin put a show by scoring 15 points out off 17 in the 3rd quarter, but it wasn't enough, ''Wolves'' started to move ball faster and included more players to score some easy buckets, S.Bastakys who had a slow start started to dominate under the basket while R.Bartkus and S.Rackauskas were getting the rebounds and giving assists to team mates. The Score difference between two teams stayed the same 46-56 to ''Wolves''.

Last ten Minutes belonged to our PG and SG, great work by A.Czuprak, M.Sekstins, V.Stonevicius and H.Abramavicius let to take a lead in front by 20 points, the opponents looked disorganised, few fast breaks in a row by A.Czuprak and ''Towers'' bench haven't bother to take a time out to cool things down. While Stephen and Conall were doing everything everything to get ''Towers'' back to the game, it just was not enough. The game ended by score 65-80. Great win and good luck to ''Towers'' in the other half of season.
