BC Wolves Invite Everyone to a Festive “Christmas Special” Event in Cookstown

We are delighted to invite players, families, and the wider community to our Christmas Special Event, taking place on Sunday, 21st December at Cookstown Leisure Centre. This promises to be a full day of basketball, festive fun, and community celebration, and best of all, entry is completely free!

The day will kick off with a U14/U16MIX Friendly Game from 11:15 to 12:45, giving our young athletes the chance to showcase their skills in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Later in the afternoon, from 13:15 to 15:15, fans can enjoy the highlight of the day — the Christmas Special Senior Game, guaranteed to bring excitement, energy, and holiday spirit to the court.

But the action won’t stop when the whistle blows. Throughout the breaks, there will be plenty of interactive activities for both players and spectators to enjoy. These include:

Wheelchair Basketball Challenge, a 3-Point Contest, the exciting Hot Seat Challenge, and classic Knockout Competitions. There will also be a raffle, bouncy castle, fun games, and fantastic Christmas hampers up for grabs, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

This event is set to be our biggest Christmas celebration yet, bringing together sport, inclusivity, and community spirit in true Wolves style. We encourage everyone to bring their friends, bring their family, and come celebrate the festive season with us.
