BC Wolves are delighted to invite Omagh Thunder players and coaches to collaborate in our new U-16 Boys Development Programme.

Both clubs understand the challenges caused by limited development opportunities and smaller player numbers in our areas. By working together, we can provide more consistent training, stronger sessions and a better environment for young players to learn, improve and enjoy basketball.

ā€œThe lack of basketball development opportunities in our area is disappointing. Instead of allowing this to hold our young players back, we will try to work together, combine our knowledge and create better opportunities for players from both clubs.ā€

— Rolandas Bartkus, BC Wolves Secretary ''On behalf of Omagh Thunder, I'm pleased to announce our new partnership with BC Wolves. Both clubs have a shared ambition to grow basketball in Tyrone and provide more opportunities for young players.

There are a lot of exciting possibilities over the next year, from joint training and development sessions to tournaments, camps and working with local schools. I'm looking forward to working with Rolandas and everyone from BC wolves and seeing what we can achieve together.'' - Connor Corcoran, Omagh Thunder Chairman

This collaboration is about supporting—not replacing—either club. Our goal is to help both BC Wolves and Omagh Thunder grow, attract more young players and build sustainable basketball pathways across Mid Ulster and Omagh.
